YANBU
But...
I'm guilty of getting caught up in work and forgetting the time. Often find my phone with 3 missed calls from DH so I can see how it happens and how annoying it is.

Is your DH my DH?

Typical scenario when I call to see when he'll be home:

Him - 'I'm leaving at 8.00 (journey is 30 mins)

8.45 (I call him ) Me - 'Where are you?'
Him - 'oh I'm just leaving now'

hatwoman · 26/11/2007 20:57

he's not a total arsehole. I do quite like him if the truth be known. But just this one thing. I couldn't give a monkey's wotsit how late he stays at the office (as long as it's not on a day when I'm working late and he's meant to be home with the kids) nor how often or for how long he goes out. I just want to know.

I'm with you, Hatwoman! My DH does this regularly, even though he knows it upsets me. He has no concept of time, unfortunately. It's my one and only bugbear about him.
