To ask how much you paid for your wedding make up trial?

Hi all

Have a makeup trial booked for this week and my wedding is 2 weeks away. It's a company I've used before and was also recommended by various people in the wedding world!

Today I have been told that the trial for me will be £80 and if I want my bridesmaids to have one it will be £30 each. This seems like an awful lot for the trial (almost as much as the makeup on the day!!!)

Is this usual - how much did you pay!

Nothing, but my friend is a beautician and did my make up, nails, facial and waxing as a gift. Another friend is a hair dresser and did my hair.

I was £50 for trial and am paying £100 for make up on the day. Bridesmaids are £75 on the day but I'm not paying for a trial for them.
