I’m really nervous to go out today all of a sudden! I am heavily pregnant and I am massively for life getting back to normal and no lockdowns all that but with this freedom day I have to say I am feeling very nervous.

Covid seems absolutely rife where I am for the first time really, I always normally have my food shop delivered but pretty much everything was out of stock on my delivery on Saturday. My husband works away and I need to do a food shop for the kids so I absolutely have to go today, long story short how is it? Carnage? Safe?

For full disclosure I’m not vaccinated

@knittingaddict was meant to say driver not drivers- and I was surprised too as was expecting a mask but he said it was freedom day and too hot. Had the windows open though and I wasn’t worried. Probably most of them will still wear.

Big Sainsbury's this morning, about 50/50 customers and none of the staff were wearing them.

Small coastal town here with huge covid rates, I went into our local supermarket this morning and I didn’t see one bare face. The locals are worried, June half term visitors to our massive caravan park sparked a large outbreak which spread into the town, we had previously low rates throughout.
