Hi I've tested positive and my son has been poorly since yesterday he's started to refuse his bottles so I've tried to give him some water through a syringe and some formula through the syringe he kind of refuses that also but I don't stop until I get some down him ... sometime he will drink a 1 or 2 ounces of his milk

I'm worried as I don't want him to get dehydrated is there any other tips pls ?

I also bought some sachets that helps with dehydration just incase I can't remember what they are called

Is he weaned? If so I would make fruit smoothie lollies for him to suck. You can get special moulds for babies. Strawberry and banana mixed in greek yoghurt is pretty good.

Call your doc and ask.

It's usual to go off eating drinking when you're very ill.

What's his temperature.. other symptoms?

How ill is he?

Don't give him the sachets if they're what I'm thinking of they're for adults and have a ton of salt

Call the doc in the morning.

Call your GP or the health visitor. At 6 months if they are ready you can start offering foods if you haven’t already and you could purée with water to give extra hydration. Apple sauce, long fingers of cucumber with the skin peeled off, frozen ice popsicles (just water), avocado mush or fingers are all good first foods. You could also offer water play - roasting tray with water and some toys. My DD loves water play and ends up drinking the water so when she’s having a day of little water or milk I do that.

Use a syringe with water ( ie the ones you get with a calpol bottle) few sips little and often

2nd not giving rehydration sachets, absolutely not! They are for adults and contain lots of salt.
Is he having wet nappies?
If so, I wouldn't worry too much, just offer milk at regular ( 2 -3 hr) intervals.
