I've always wanted a dog, we has them growing up and I love them. Dh has put his foot down and said no way.
We have 3 cats and 2 secondary kids, one with additional needs that would also really love a dog and I think will help him emotionally. I'm no longer in the office full time and so between dh and me we are around most of the time. I would wait until the right rescue is available and know how much hard work dogs are. We have money for vets bills and a big enclosed garden.
Seriously I wouldn't get a dog without dh permission but I would love one. Is there anything like a dog? I love my cats but they are not the most affectionate of things.
