To love the "feeling" of losing weight

I am finally managing to lose weight, and I love how it feels. My jeans are looser, and I am actually needing to use a belt now to keep them from falling below my waist. But my FAVOURITE bit is how my skin feels. There are ridges of lumpiness (reducing fat?) under my skin .... first just on my thighs and upper legs, but now on my upper arms too, and tummy and underarms.

I'm 5 ft 3, aged 50, and used to always be around 9 to 9.5 stone. But a really stressful divorce about 5 years ago left me on anti depressants, and the weight just steadily increased up to about 12.5 stone. I tried but got nowhere in trying to lose weight whilst still on the antidepressants (Venlafaxine). But I managed to drop down to a minimal dose (37.5mg/day) in February this year, and a few months later, finally sensible eating and portion control is starting to help shift 1 to 2 pounds a week.

Has anyone else experienced this lumpiness feel? It is really weird, but I am fascinated by it.

I've still got several cases of "size 12" clothes under my bed, which would be amazing to fit again .... although part of me, if I really manage to drop down to a 12 or 14 again (currently a 16), wants to treat myself to a shopping trip for some new styles.

@xksismybestletter I have lost a stone and a half. For ages I don't think many people noticed but over the past few weeks it seems I'm getting comments from everyone!

its a great feeling - lost 1 stone and 8 lbs over the past year. to be able to pull out my summer shorts that wouldn't close for me last year go up easy and close its amazing . As now were seeing people the comments have helped my confidence and can see it in photos aswell comparing to last year. Its also a wonderful feeling to ick up the next size down in the shops when buying clothes . Am able to walk for a couple of hours with the dogs too without being in pain, out of breath or exhausted, more energy too. Well done to you , you have done it the sensible way and stayed with it and are seeing the improvements now
