You’re single and in a bar and meet someone, it’s love at first sight. You’re chatting and then he/she introduces themselves and their name is………………..
Are there any dealbreakers for you? A name you just can’t get past? For me it’s über American masculine names such Hunter, Rock, Falcon (yes seriously).
When Kate Winslet met Ned Rocknroll did she think “gosh what a lark” or “sounds like a complete tosser”?
I also once met a Mr Wankum and thought there is no way I could become Mrs Wankum.
This post is just for fun, I’m not seriously going to reject someone because of a name (well maybe Wankum).

Weirdly enough, Jim.

Although I don't mind James.

I went on a date with a man who kept mopping his sweaty brow with a flannel, I didn’t go for a second date. Sorry but nope

Names don’t bother me, I find they grow on you if you like the person enough.

Must be able to come up with a nic name? Or a shortening. Mind you having said that I’d struggle with one the same name as my sons.

@MrsFin

I know a Mr Allison who married a lady called Alison.

I've always wanted to marry Tomasz Schafernaker just for his name!

Sadly you wouldn't be his type Grin

When I was a teen I had a holiday romance with a slightly older boy called Courtney. Needless to say when I retold the story to friends, he had a different name Blush
