To not buy Scentsy?

A friend of mine has quite a few scentsy wax burners that light up and look very warm and snuggly. So this weekend I was able to borrow so items from a local consultant and try them out. I really like them but I am bowled over by how much the burners (the ones I like) cost along with the cost of the wax melts.

I have searched the web and there are other less expensive options out there so I am wondering if I went for a cheaper version am I selling myself short, is it that in this case spending more is actually the better choice?

Imo they are completely unethical (and so is continuing them by supporting them). 99% of people lose money, whilst the 1% at the top get richer.

It's a legal pyramid scheme.

I have a was one that dp bought for me from his friends wife who sells them. I've never had ht on. Complete waste of money. Can't find a wax thing I like at all (any recommendations welcome the sample ones I got bloody stink). They are a horrendous price and really quite tacky. No offence intended.

There are a few of the fragrances I like so I might buy them. I would buy a burner elsewhere though.

I do like scentsy BUT I don't think the waxes last long at all so way too overpriced. I much prefer the diffusers which burn the oils, they last so much longer. You can get diffusers in lots of different places but I hot mine from Yankee, the burners are about £30 but the oils are cheap and last for ages. So much better than scentsy!
