To ask how to find out who sent me this?

300 GBP pair of headphones arrive from Amazon.

Not from our account, Amazon will not tell us who.

We can't accept gifts without knowing who sent it due to job. What do we do? How do we find out who sent it?

Address on there is ours, but spelt wrong and half of it is in French. It all feels very dodgy.

@Amdone123 Amazon are really good at telling people to keep things actually incorrectly addressed (sent to old address etc.).

But those scams I've only ever heard of low values items actually being received, it would be cost ineffective to send out high value goods to create fake reviews.

Is there any chance you or someone else in the household has won these headphones? A prize draw or competition, maybe?

It doesn't sound like brushing if the address wasn't fully correct - they use leaked data to get your address from other sites you've used it on where presumably you would have entered it correctly and not half in French.

If it's been sent anonymously I don't see the harm in accepting it - the rules of no expensive gifts exist so you don't give favourable treatment to somebody. You can't do that if it's anonymous.

I would declare it work and see what they say, if you're open and transparent you can't be accused of anything.
