He’s convinced he can set up an echo dot where I’ve failed. We’ll see. But should I worry? Will he peruse my what’s app chats where I join in a general moan about men? Will he find my secret stash of topless pics of Giovanni from Strictly? What about my Amazon purchase history of meaningless crap?

What would you worry about in my shoes? Besides being proven wrong re defective dot?

I'm always interested in these threads where partners dont have use of eachother phones. If dp asked to use mine I wouldn't give it a second thought, and vice a versa.

@Paul72

My phone and my wife's phone have the same pin numbers.
My bank debit card and my wife's bank debit card have the same pin numbers (Not the same as the phone pins)
It is called total trust.

I would call that co dependency/abusive/treating each other like children but you do you 🤷‍♀️

I've got a secret WhatsApp excluding DH, just for me and our adult DC so we don't buy the same gift/books/ whatever for DH father's Day/birthday/ Christmas.
It'd ruin the surprise for DH if he saw our messages.

It is called poor security.

I don't have the same pin on any two of my own bank accounts, even though I trust myself.

We know each others pins in case of emergency. We rarely use each others phones, but if he asked I'd hand it over. After closing the incognito tab, obviously.

If he wants to look through the other 70 odd tabs I have open, that's fine.

Are you logged in to MN on that phone?

Are you worried about name changes being exposed??

our bank and phone pin's are like @Paul72'
so much easier when banking (i can put money down on his m/c or can or he can access the city property tax biller from mine).
him knowing my phone pin comes in handy when i'm driving he can answer or me vice versa.
not at all childish, abusive or co-dependent just married over 40 years trust one another and need life as simple as possible.

My recent internet history is various hot men (inspired by the LadyBoners subreddit, followed by my Morrison’s shopping on Amazon Prime then some research into an update on the whole Colin Caterpillar saga. My husband would just be like 🙄 if he read all that.

I was really embarrassed when my mum used my phone to order something and saw my delivery history for the local Italian restaurant Blush 😂

I'd be worried if anyone saw the weird and random things I Google. Most of those things are probably from MN Grin

I think the only thing would be the fact I have been researching the right type of lime pit to put a dead body in, also local pig farms. Oh and how easy it is to fly over Everest in a private airplane.
