Clothes interview help

Shamelessly posting for traffic.

I have an interview on Wed and I'm travelling from work tomorrow so need to leave packed in the morning.

I am planning to wear tailored navy trousers with a white blouse long fluted sleeves (not a shirt) or a navy lace fitted top with nude heels.

My navy Jacket doesn't match the trousers in colour. Can I wear a coloured jacket / carry it? Either quite bright blue mid thigh or pink and hip length.

Or do I need to do a dash Wednesday morning.

My mum says too bright and better in a wrap dress but I think I feel more confident in the trousers.

Professional job. Interviewer is a stylish sharp slightly quirk dressed man.

Help

I like the sound of the pink jacket better

Thank you. I'd picked the pink jacket and my husband and best friend (photos) agreed. She said professional but interesting.

Everything I've googled says dark colours only and I lost my nerve !

Pink sounds amazing over the navy lace top! I don't think you can be "too bright" -
for my last two interviews I wore scarlet and was offered both jobs. I wear a lot of bright jewel colours - ruby, cobalt, emerald, and in my view it makes you memorable.

If the industry is quite creative/modern, a coloured jacket (or even no jacket and just a blouse/top) would be fine. If it was me, I would carry the navy jacket you have and pretend I felt too warm to wear it - although I work in a sector where you don't need to be too formal!

Thanks folks. I feel a bit more sure of my choices. It's a talking role building relationships type stuff (alongside other more technical aspects) but I thought colour would be memorable and perhaps more interesting/ approachable.
