To ask if anyone has a quick sun stroke remedy?

I am on holiday and have felt nauseous all night. Today feels like I have the worst hangover of my life. I am really nauseous, have had diarrhoea and just feel so dreadful.

I can only assume it’s from being in the sun yesterday. I was careful, wasn’t out too long and wore sun cream, but think I must have maybe not drank enough.

We are meant to be going out today so I will have a disappointed 2 and 4 year old if I can’t go, but at the minute my nausea is terrible if I stand up or try to move.

I’ve kept down a banana and a slice of toast and had some orange squash. Anything else I can do to help feel better quickly?

What did you have to eat yesterday?

Could well be a bug if your dc has been sick too, but just another one confirming that diarrhea is most definitely a heat stroke symptom, do don't rule it out just because you have the shits. Hope you are feeling better soon, either way it sounds miserable.

@Excilente

i dont think it causes diarrhea though.. so i think you have a bug rather than heat stroke/exhaustion.
Heat stroke definitely causes diarrhea. I should know. Envy not envy.

Diaoralyte for everyone. Full sugar lemonade. Paracetamol. Shower then warm, not hot, bath. Chips.

I get heat stroke v easily. This plan of attack works.
