To ask how I can unstuck my nose?

Severe hayfever.

Already on maximum levels of steroids and antihistamines and barely functioning.

My nose is so stuffed up, but that swollen stuffiness as opposed to mucus stuffiness. Stuffed so badly I'm struggling to swallow and even talk 🤦🏻‍♀️

I've tried steam, humidifier, vicks inhale stick thingy, the "hold your nose" trick, the pressure points trick.

I cant use decongestant sprays (despite the fact they do work) because I'm intolerant to them and the tablets like sudafed make zero difference.

If I walk around the pressure in my nose eases a bit, not enough the breathe through my nose but enough to not feel like my face is going to explode. But clearly I cant walk around 24 hours a day.

I know the incoming rain will be me some relief but since thursday when my hayfever really kicked in I've not slept more than 2-3 hours a night.

Am I missing anything else? Any other secret tricks I'm not aware of?

Things like menthol and chillis aren't going to work if the blocking is due to irritation and swelling rather than mucus. In fact they could well make it worse, as they could exacerbate the irritation.

Have you tried proper sudafed? The stuff on shelves and boots is a poor product called phenylephrine which basically is ineffective. Proper pseudoephedrine has to be held behind the pharmacy counter as it's restricted but you don't need a prescription - ask the pharmacist

Menthol doesn’t work on the mucus actually, it just makes you feel like you can breathe better.

This works for me both for general stuffiness and when I've had a horrible cold and swollen stuffiness.
Take a deep breath in through your mouth. Breath all the way out, through your nose if you can but mouth is ok. Then hold your nose and hold your breath. Then tilt your head backwards and forwards (so tuck your chin right into your neck, then tilt your ehad backwards to look straight up), do this several times, still holding your nose and your breath. Do it as long as you can until you don't feel you can hold your breath any longer. You may need to repeat the whole process a a few times but it's honestly amazing.

Local honey is your best bet. Contains all the pollens,so your body gets used to them, consumed rather than breathed in, so you build up a better tolerance to the actual pollens where you live. Needs to be local, so find your local bee keeper.

You did say you were desperate so… for temporary relief try masturbation. Apparently orgasms temporarily restrict the blood flow and reduce inflammation. I swear I’m not a troll and it really does work and is backed by science Blush
