So, front boundary with semi detached neighbours is a fence. No problems with it. They have a huge hedge their side, again no issue with them having it despite it being 10ft and affecting the light into our front room.
However issue is the hedge grows every way including through the wire fence and into our property meaning I'm regularly ( maybe every other month) having to trim it back and maintain it our side ( effort and a lot of garden waste). We've mentioned getting rid - they want it for privacy which is their choice absolutely but they'll do nothing to maintain or keep it our side despite explicit permission to do so.
AIBU to Build whole wooden panels up to the top to stop it coming in and remove our need to maintain it? Would that even work?
Can I do anything else in this situation??
Any help appreciated
