For those who have mentioned lowish levels and seeing dermatologists, was this for acne? I am 42 and have bad hormonal acne on my chin.

I am in the low 30s and also have borderline B12 levels which I wonder may be connected to my skin?

Always tired and hair does shed a lot

@Indnbrdge91 I initially saw my dermatologist because I have melasma which is hyperpigmentation on my face. I just asked about hair loss as I'm 3 years post partum and not been able to wear my hair down for 2 years as it got so thin.
For acne, have you tried tretinoin? It's prescription but can't get from gp. You can get private treatment through dermatica.uk it's £22 a month but lasts around 7/8 weeks a bottle so you don't need to purchase each month and the first month is free. Great for acne and bonus is its anti-aging. I use tretinoin for my melasma too and my skin has never been better!

It is within normal. With a normal hb, you’re unlikely to have any anaemia symptoms at a ferritin of 30. It’s probably not optimal, but certainly not worrying. A supplement wouldn’t do any harm though.

@BMrs thank you, I haven't tried Tretonin but sounds like it could be worth a try as I have some fine lines too! I had a skin and me prescription for a while and they put in niamacide and azealic acid which worked for a time.

@Indnbrdge91 skin and me is similar and if you ask them they will add tretinoin too at no additional cost
