Would you put a 6 month old in a paddling pool?

DS is 6 months, he can sit unaided. We have a baby pool but it says for ages 1 up. Would you put a 6 month old in it? We'd obviously supervise him

Why would you not, if you are there 100%, not walking away, and literally playing with him at all times (for eg no chance of falling asleep in garden chair). Then I agree, how is it different to a bath?. Be sun aware obviously.

I'd probably sit in it behind them but I like paddling pools myself!

We did with warm water and under a sun tent.
