How do you know when probate has been granted?

DH has been named in a will - we know he's been named. MIL and MIL's sister (aunt in law?) are the executors. MIL and AIL do not get on. In fact, no one at all gets on with MIL. DH and SIL are NC with MIL. MIL is trying to use the will to get contact with DH and SIL and so she's managed to convince AIL that she should deal with anyone in the will on "her side" whilst AIL deals with her own side. DH is on "MIL's side". We know that we have the right to see the will once probate has been granted. Unfortunately, we can't figure out how the hell we know whether or not probate has been granted?
Any ideas?

You can put in a request for a standing search and they'll send you a copy if it is granted in the next 6 months.
