AIBU to keep going to the docs?? Post natal TMI warning

This may be long, please bear with me.

I gave birth a year ago this month. 3rd induction, quick birth, everything fine. Was discharged after 9 hours, having been given the depo jab for contraception.
I was also given clexane (a blood thinner) for 6 weeks following birth due to my BMI.

Now for the TMI bit.
The post natal bleeding was horrendous, like nothing I've ever seen before. I spoke to the nurse at my gp surgery many times about it, before finally getting a face to face appointment at 5 months PP.
I was given pills to stem the blood flow, and decided to have a mirena could fitted (had 3 before, no periods, was great - thought it may help)
Pills helped for long enough to have coil fitted, but I had a bad reaction instantly, contraction like pains, stabbing feeling in cervix etc. Had 2 follow on appointments with nurse who insisted it was in the correct place. Bleeding stopped being so extreme but still had irregular periods, during which the pain was unbearable.

Finally got an appointment with a GP in Feb, who sent me for a sonogram which confirmed that coil was not in the correct place.
Finally had it removed 3 weeks ago (now 11 mo ths PP), an am currently on my 2nd period since having it removed, which is so bad I'm changing maternity pads every 2 hours.

AIBU to think this isnt normal?? Or do I just have to suck it up that this is how my life is now and my last baby broke me?
I feel like I'm going crazy, and just being fobbed off when I ask for help. Believe it or not this is a very simplified version of the last 12 months.

I’m so sorry, this sounds so awful. I don’t think this is what you can or should be expected to put up with at all. Can you insist on another face to face appointment? If so, request blood tests as perhaps hormonally something hasn’t settled and, furthermore, I would expect with that amount of blood loss that you may be anaemic. If you feel able to, keep pushing for an appointment and some answers as this must be so debilitating. I am so sorry you are going through this and hope that you get some help from the GP soon. X

@Onelovelyone thank you! I'm just feeling so very alone right now. Partner is being as supportive as possible but theres only so much he can do. I'll be back on the phone to the docs tomorrow morning, just praying they'll help me. X

Just lost my reply so this is the quick version!

I've had very heavy periods since having my third child. They think it's because I have a polyp. There are a lot of options for treatments e.g. tranexamic acid. You need to go back to the consultant (or ask your gp to refer you if you haven't already been).

Lots of teatments for heavy periods I mean (treatment for polyp is to remove it).
