To ask how to transform my body in 4 months

I’m 18 months on from my second child. Lockdown and two pregnancies have not been kind to my body. I was a size 10 before, toned and fit. I’m now around a 12/14 so not huge but just so so unfit, flabby and uncomfortable with myself. I’ve got awful cellulite, no tone to my body, saggy boobs and a wobbly stomach.
I’m aware of this but just keep eating crap especially a lot of sugar. An invitation has just come through for a friends black tie event in September. This has given me an incentive to make the effort to get in shape, healthy and comfortable and maybe feel good on the night.
Has anyone done this in this timeframe and what’s the best way? I have a gym membership but realistically can only go twice a week with two kids (one school, one nursery) and a busy job.
Any advice/encouragement?

@Verbena87

Sort your pelvic floor and core strength properly before you start anything high impact. No point being ‘in shape’ with pelvic organs falling out.
How? I had a baby 8 months ago and I’m squeezing but it’s still not right...

Another vote for intermittent fasting. Just stick to your eating window and nothing else to worry about or count. I have just gone back onto this to tackle lockdown gain and bad habits and lost first 1kg in 5 days.

www.kenzai.com if you do exactly by the book you will make a massive difference in 3 months. It's not a gimmick diet, it is a proven fitness and nutrition programme that works.

Thanks for reminding me about Callanetics. I remember it from the 80s! Have just signed up and done a starting class, owww! I am so unfit I could not finish it but will persevere. So much more to my liking than high impact hopping about....

Following this with interest. My baby is 12 months old now and I'm ready to sort my body out! Although I'm back to pre baby weight, I was larger than what I feel is my natural size and my shape is different. I was a size 8/10 now I'm a 14. I'm petite in height and bone size so this is a large change for me even though I'm not clothing size big.

I'm struggling to get my water intake up which is strange as I love it! Do you have any tips for this? Do you fill a 2L jug up each day?

Op how are you getting on with your challenge?

Can anyone give specific callisthenics recommendations? I don't mind buying the original Callan one from amazon.what's it called??

Of course you can do it, OP! 2 dress sizes in 4 months could be easily done.

You NEED to sort out your eating though (as I know you're aware). No need to cut out carbs or fast. Just focus on 3 balanced meals a day, no snacking - it's that simple. Try and stay in a mild calorie deficit and you'll get there in 4 months, unquestionably.

When you feel like eating more or craving junk, just drink gallons (water, tea, coffee - whatever). I know everyone says that but it really works. This is the main thing that helped me sort out my binge eating - I just keep drinking. Never without my water bottle or tea flask.. And I only feel hunger when I'm genuinely hungry :-)

You really don't want to make drastic changes or deny yourself foods that you like. Have a pizza, just have half of it (and then fill up with water). Have a piece of cake every now and then but stop at 1 piece. You get the idea.

You want to create a sustainable lifestyle, not become a victim of a diet culture.

You can do it!! Good luck :-)
