Damiano David from the Italian Eurovision winning group Maneskin?

I'm 44. I actually googled tickets for Eurovision 2022. I'm not far off adding up the number values of the letters in our respective last names and adding them up in my jotter to see if we are a match Grin

I know I AIBU but bloody hell he's hot

That's (apparently) my future son-in-law.
I'm in Italy and what's cute is seeing them interviewed outside of big events. They're just kids, been out of high school for about 3 years some of them and pretty shy and overwhelmed by it all (even before Saturday)

He's not my type as such but I was agog at his beauty and charisma. He also gave me a warm fuzzy 80s flashback to see a man doing heels, glam outfit and make-up with pride, as a man. I miss Prince!

I'm more of a 'Brad Pitt in World War Z' type. I fell a little bit in love with him when I first watched the movie and its not gone away. I may watch it this weekend, a little treat for my middle-aged self.

@Definately I have a very clear memory of Justin Hawkins entering “A Song For Europe” a good few years ago, trying to be the UK entry. He didn’t win and had a massive strop on live TV 😂

Except one is 19, in Italy kids finish high school at 19. 2 are 20 and 1 is 21. Had any of them failed a year at school, they'd still be there.

He is my type (looks a lot like a young Johnny Depp) but more than that, just loving seeing the resuscitation of that 80s/early 90s look for men of eyeliner, and glam outfits. Without imagining it made them women!

A man confident enough in his masculinity he can wear make up or feminine clothing and play with stereotypes.

Hopefully a move back away from putting people in rigid gender boxes. I miss 80s-style gender bending.

Now for me men and make up don’t mix I prefer men in suits or jeans and shirts. No long hair either, we’re a funny bunch aren’t we? Different things for each of us.
