So car accident happened as shown n diagram. Car B in left hand lane, empty lane and green light to go around the corner. Row of static cars next to them as waiting at red light to go straight on. Car A is coming the other direction, sees a gap in the static queue and drives though it to reach the carpark, in doing so crosses the lane where Car B is. Car B couldn't stop in time and hit car Car A. AIBU unreasonable to think Car A is at fault?

Good luck OP. We had a car cross the centre line and smash into us and, despite dash cam footage, the other persons insurance just dragged it out so long that our insurance gave up and now our premium has gone up.

Even though we have clear footage, the driver claimed the car had been stolen (although they didn't report this until after the accident funnily enough) and therefore they were not liable to pay. I'm not saying that older ladies don't steal Fiat Panda's for a Saturday afternoon joyride but I imagine it's unlikely...

@anguauberwaldironfoundersson that's rubbish :( I will keep pushing them, would think that my insurance would be quite keen to get the other side to pay rather than them but not being very quick about it!
