My son is 5 months old, I went to my work today for the first time and I saw my colleagues and they were asking to cuddle him. I said no due to covid etc but was I BU?

As long as you were polite - not at all.

PicaK · 21/05/2021 19:41

(because they asked - they didn't just dive in. If they'd done that then no politeness needed)

Before or after covid, it's your baby, you don't have to let anyone hold them.

shouldistop · 21/05/2021 19:57

Covid wouldn't bother me but I've never liked handing my babies round rooms. Family and close friends fine but other than that not really.
I'd also never ask to hold someone else's baby.

More mean than rude.

MIC2689 · 21/05/2021 20:02

Hahaha before Covid I wouldn't let just anyone hold my son as a newborn. I hated that people just assumed they could. Definitely not being unreasonable.

I wouldn’t have taken him in if you’re so worried about covid. You must have known that your colleagues would have wanted bosies.
