I live in a Scotland and for your vaccine you are given a time slot in a particular day. I just saw on Facebook someone asking ‘if I’m due to go today but don’t want to wait till 5pm can I just go at any time?’ Lots of people are saying ‘yes it’s fine!’ And ‘yep just go down and see!’

The time slots are to ensure there are not too many people in the place at one time and also if I go down for my appointment time and there are 20 extra people who aren’t due to go queuing up it will take longer! I am being U today anyway due to not sleeping well and the period from hell, but this is ridiculous isn’t it?

@UserAtRandom they aren’t even checking though and just heading to the vaccination centre. It’s quite selfish as it’s the staff that turn have to deal with turning them away.

@BrieAndChilli that’s fine and I wouldn’t mind that too much, me and DH gave the same time on our letters so that’s handy.
