To not put up photos?

I've never put framed photos in my house. No family pictures or anything.

It's just never really occurred to me to do this even though my family all do it, especially my mum. And I see on TV shows that it's a common thing to do. People even comment on it when they enter a home without family photos up as if it's a moral failing of some kind.
I'm almost 50 and have NEVER done this. Maybe I should.
Am I weird? Am I the only one?

We have quite a few up, we have a big pin board in the livingroom that has photos but also bits from special occasions. We also have quite a few framed photos, I have one with photos of my son at different ages.

No pictures up here either.

I think it stems from having a massive copy of the Mona Lisa up in the dining room when we were kids. It was creepy at night and I just don't want photos peering at me.

Not a lot, but I did stay in an air B&B family home and they had a wall of photos going down the stairs and I really enjoyed them. I'm not going to do one of those huge walls, but maybe a few more so that my DDs feel a bit more connected to my side of the family who aren't nearby.

We don't really have photos. We have the odd one lying around. But we have loads of art. I'm an artist and love screen and riso prints. I always think photos are nice but find it odd when people have no art on their walls. But it's so common it's obviously not odd!

The only photos we have up are of the dog Grin

Definitely no photos here. We don’t like photos of ourselves and we have no children, and when we take photos they’re of places we like. We collect woodcuts and a particular type of old prints and have them all over the house; they are in matching frames and hang together nicely as a set. My family never had photos of people up at home; DH’s do, but he dislikes it as much as I do. We are a good match in so many ways 😁

I have quite a few photos around the house but they are all scenery plus 6 photos of our previous dog.

Never seen the need to have photos of family around and certainly don't want photos of me and DH on show. I don't even have any photos on facebook except for my dog

We married 40 years ago and I think we have looked at our wedding album twice in that time. Don't even know where it is now.
