IT Project Manager. Although the pay rise didn’t happen this year, it’s usually around 2%.

I don’t have a degree (I’ve worked for the company for over 30 years, & only have O-levels to my name) but I’m sure you’d need one nowadays.

Admin for a bank. pay rises aren't always as high as 2% but there's always something and a bonus every year. Good (ish) pension due to when I joined (their current pension isn't as good). Excellent benefits including health coverage which got me a £15k knee replacement for £300 in 2 months rather than having to wait 2+ years for a free one from the NHS. Progression would be possible if I wanted it but I don't.

Exec assistant. Progression depends on how open minded your boss is though so is a bit of a gamble. Suits me though - it's good money and I've developed those parts of the job I find most interesting (research) and ditched the least interesting (diary), without having to take on the responsibility of a higher job title.

I work in admin at a university. Pension is about 19% from employer and just over 5% from me. They actively encourage us to book onto training organised by the uni for both work development and wellbeing. Yesterday I booked on to a half hour meditation session which was a lovely Friday treat. The week before I spent 3 hours in a training session learning how to deal with difficult people. The opportunity to progress is there for those who want to (I'm happy where I am) and I know my own manager has helped coach colleagues before they've interviewed for higher level positions elsewhere in the uni. She's sad to see them go but enjoys seeing them progress.

Another civil servant here. Pay increases haven't been 2% the last couple of years but probably about 1.5%.

No guaranteed bonus but there are performance ones if you get the top box marking.
