Do they work? Does skin really look noticeably better later?

My skin looks like shit and it’s getting me down looking it on zoom all day.

Can anyone who has had one give me their review?

Use Google Meet, much more flattering Grin

Are you using the ‘touch up appearance’ feature? I miss it now we seem to be using teams more.

I also felt the same and have added retinol to my regime and it seems to be making a difference. I would totally have a peel though, make sure you check the length of downtime you need after

I paid £360, for 3 sessions of Electrolift, you have a peel and then 30 minutes of hyluronic acid being massaged into your face.

My skin never looked better, totally recommend it.

Vaseline on the web cam lens, give a nice fuzzy look, takes years off you

Thehop · 15/05/2021 13:37

Depends which peel. They’re not all created equal by any stretch.

Have you tried adding niacinamide and retinol to your skincare? This is enough for some people and a good prep for a peel.

Face theory and the ordinary have good ranges

I honestly wouldn't, unless you are minted and that's just change money to you. I suppose if it was for a treat, and you wanted the lovely pampering experience, then go for it. But if you're hoping it will work miracles on your skin, it's unlikely.

Do you know what active ingredients they would use?

Even if your skin looked amazing after, the effects wouldn't last very long. I would save your money and look into the skincare threads on Style & Beauty boards here.

Invest in a few key ingredients, as Thehop says above. Getting into a good skincare routine takes a bit of time, but it can give really good results. What you do everyday for your skin will be more effective than a one off.
