Posting for traffic and because I think you vipers will come up with the best names.

We're getting a male golden lab puppy but CAN we agree on a name!?

Only stipulattion is nothing that sounds like Basil Or Gizmo (cats names), not Disney related, other than that we're pretty open minded!

He gorgeous and looks like he's going to grow into a handsome, dignified chap! I'd go with something posh but not commonly used as a human name like Ralph, Rupert, Leonard (Lennie), Albert, Alfred, Guy, Archibald.....

You need something short (one or two syllables) - for recall purposes. Our last Golden Labs were Sam and Tal.

Other labs I know are Kenny, Oscar, Charlie, Freddie, Marley, Nico, Rio, Zak, Dave, Chester, Basil, Simon, Travis, Archie.

Our dog is called Tiggy but maybe a bit female sounding? Anyway I’ve got into habit of calling her Wig which I think is a great dog name. One syllable is good for a dog name.

No suggestions for names (you have received many), just to say I think any name should be able to be called out to your puppy without seeming ridiculous and bringing laughter at you from others. Same incidentally applies with cats names.
