DC 1 - knocked loose both adult lower front teth aged about 5 falling over a stationary bike.
DC 1 - knocked out 1 baby adult tooth and dislodged 2 others aged about 6 (I can't even remember how now)
DC 1 - chipped bottom adult tooth on school climbing frame aged about 8
DC 1 - Broke adult top tooth and moved another one falling off scooter age 10.
DC 1 - Fell on face and broke and dislodged both front teeth age 11 in school.
DC 2 - Filling age 8. No anasthetic and was distraught.
DC 2 - Extraction of tooth as filling failed a couple of months later.
DC1 Root canal on front tooth that died age 11
DC 2 - Another filling on tooth that was next to the first tooth age 9
DC 1 - Needs a second root canal on other front tooth as that has now died age 12.
DC 2 - Knocked front tooth today and feels weird.

As a kid, I remember one boy knocking his front teeth out running into a pole. Since then, despite playing contact sports, I've never known anyone else have tooth injuries.

What is going on with my kids?! They brush their teeth, drink water 99% of the time, wear gumshields when doing dangerous things. No broken limbs, just broken teeth. To make matters worse, my Dad was a dentist and so as well as never having had so much as a filling, I have an ingrained understanding that your teeth are for life and need to be looked after.

What am I doing wrong?!

Wow, that is a lot of teeth related issues!

My BIL broke his front tooth just after his adult teeth came in, my MIL always says she was distraught. The replacement looks fine now though.

You are having rather more than normal!

Well your DC1 is clearly a bit accident prone. Not much you can do about that, certain bites make you more prone to dental trauma. Its possible its just the way their teeth are. But trust me lots of children injure their teeth

Your DC2 needs to brush their teeth better/eat less sugar
