AIBU to ask garden advice

I have a long, wedge shaped garden that currently has a 3x5m shed with a 2mx 3m shed behind it at the very end. Both are rotting as they are under trees and there is no way to get in to maintain them so they are being ripped down.

Sooooo - what do I do with the space! Its not the sunniest part of the garden and is below massive trees. DH wants a (brick) shed but we have ummed and ahhed about what to do down there. We had a company out to price up a garden building for the space (£25000 but DH doesn't want anything not made of brick after what happened to the sheds.)

We thought about seating down there but it's not very warm or sunny, a play area for the kids (not keen on staring at it through the bifolds all day).

So any ideas? I'm rubbish at this! The space is about 10/12 metres long and goes to point at the back and about 5 metres wide at the front. it's about half our garden again (we have a small patio next to the house and an area of lawn too).

I can't wait to hear your ideas!

Just get a wooden shed if you need a shed. Honestly, if you maintain them they last for years. I've had one that's 20 years old and all I've done is patched the roof a couple of times and painted it once. It does need replacing now but not urgently. Otherwise plant a shady border. No point in making a seating area or kids play area if it's too shady

You can get metal sheds? Would be a lot less than £25k!
