Ugg boots

I've recently inherited a pair of Ugg boots from my daughter. They were no longer wanted and she dismissed them as chavvy! OMG how comfy are they especially for WFH. My tootsies feel all snuggled and warm. AIBU to consider getting a black pair?

A woman I work with lives in them. They look filthy, are worn down on one side and they look cheap and nasty.

Ugg snobbery is stupid! Uggs are the comfiest shoes in the world.

Sounds like they’re fake then. The genuine ones don’t wear down one side.

I’m not a fan of the traditional style ugg boots but love my ugg slippers and the other boots they do
I have 4 pairs of ugg walking boots - 2 brown 2 black and they are so warm and comfortable

These are a few years old but still going strong and fully waterproof

I moved on. I came back.

I love uggs. I haven't had a pair for over 5 years but I really do miss them. I'll never forget putting my feet into my very first pair and felt like this was what I'd been missing all my life 😂

They’re my writing shoe/slipper of choice.

Agree with @19lottie82, any that have worn down on one side aren't real Uggs.

I've had mine since 2009, not particularly well cared for (have on occasion got very wet by accident) but still going fairly strong. I don't wear them often anymore but any occasion when you need to keep your feet toasty they can't be beaten.

Go for it with the new ones OP. Life's too short to worry about Ugg snobs.

My uggs are my favourite shoes ever. Working from home meant they could become my work shoes. Bliss.

I have outdoor and indoors classic Ugg boots , best shoes for air travel too - whenever thats' coming back.

They're not even that expensive considering how long they last.

Crocs are back in fashion, Ugg will come back one day too.

I’ve had mine 10-12 years and they’re still in shape, a bit grubby but I love wearing them when I’m on a long drive.

I’m still wearing mine, but not actual Uggs, house boots from Celtic Sheepskin - made in Cornwall from local skins.
House boots are brilliant - you can still wear them out of doors but the sole is lighter.

I moved to the Sketchers version. The animal cruelty side of Uggs put me off them. But I agree that the UGG snobbery is pathetic.

Absolutely love mine. They last for ages, and keep your feet so warm and comfy. I wear them all winter.

I have them in several colours, including a snazzy purple pair with diamante design but that's because I've never paid full price for a pair - I get them from Schuh Imperfects (so they might arrive with one of the pair a bit faded, tho often this is unnoticeable) so I just take what I can get in my size when I need a new pair.

My knee high chestnut pair have had a resurgence during lockdown and I love them again, They have different colour paint splashes on them from me wearing them while decorating though!

I am really fancying a black leather pair!
