I’m interested in thoughts on this article that I came across:
cardozolawreview.com/settling-in-the-shadow-of-sex-divorce-marital-asset-division/
This study seems to show, basically, that in various divorce scenarios - different main carer, different person wanting the divorce, on average the “judges” awarded the men more than the women even when all other circumstances were the same. So a male main carer with female main earner gets more than female main carer with male main earner, for instance. Whereas male main earner with female main carer gets more than female main earner with male main carer.
Why would that be? I’m really wondering what it is about society that leads to that.
