Hiya , I was just wondering if anyone has had any history with a breast cyst ?... basically I’m panicking like something chronic ! I’m 36 andI’ve found a lump in my breast and since then a couple of smaller ones :/ I’ve been to the gp and she has referred me to the breast clinic . She did mention that it could be hormonal ( as I did mention I’ve felt a bit of pain in the breast near the armpit for months and months but ignored it ) ( thought it was an ill fitting bra 🙄) anyways since then I’ve been touching this boob now sometimes I can feel the lump , the I loose it then I think I’ve found other little ones)🙄🙄😪... Iits quite tender to to touch and afterwards .I have been on cerelle pill since I have had my children eldest is 14 and I don’t have any periods at all. So his didn’t help the doctor at all !.. also ,this breast (left) just feels more muscley, tissuy than my right ?.... I’m just trying to see if it could be hormonal, rather than the worst x if anyone has been through something similar and hasn’t turned out to the worst , this could be great ! Thankyou x

Mine were, but that was determined by the mamagram and ultrasounds. On the plus side, the doctor advised that when I do start my regular mamagram checks they will have a starting image to compare for changes.

You don't know until you are checked, mentally, if you can, let off imagining the result as it is pointless stress to you, it is stressful enough without you delving in to the what ifs at this point.

Good luck for this afternoon, keep us updated. I meant to say in my earlier post that mine was all OK. Not even cyst just a thickening of some tissue that requires no treatment. I was convinced it was definitely something as it was quite big.
Its hard not to worry. I hope your son is ok

I had this 2_years ago.
Mine was a fatty lump. It still hurts each month but they did say that was caused by hormones.

Good luck

Thank you to those who offered me support today. All is good. The lump was a cyst. I actually have loads of them in both breasts. I am so so relieved. I will sleep well tonight xx

Another breast cancer survivor here, 6 yrs on. My lump was hard, attached to the chest wall, immovable and no pain at all. Breast clinic was a one stop shop, ultrasound, manual exam, and biopsy all in one morning in the same dept.

Oh I'm so glad! What a relief!

It's probably a cyst, but good you're getting it checked out. I found a lump last October which turned out to be cancer. Honestly though, the experience has been so much easier than I thought. Caught early and whipped out and I feel absolutely normal now. The breast clinics are fab. It's a bit of the NHS that really works.
