What do you think? Yes or no?
Sky or just Netflix?
Big or small?

@incorigabletitmouse. Thanks it’s only just been done, so that’s my pride and joy 65 inch films and blu ray Dr who are fantastic on it.

Msgiggles30 · 18/04/2021 00:05

I have one but literally never use it! It's 32inch which I feel is a good size for a bedroom, wouldn't want a huge one dominating the room.

MixedUpFiles · 18/04/2021 02:06

Telly in bedroom = yes.

I also have one for my jacuzzi tub. Nothing like a nice hot bath and some Netflix.

NeverDropYourMoonCup · 18/04/2021 02:46

As you're not going to be kept awake by the light and noise from a partner who is unable to cope without it being on for 22 out of 24 hours a day, crack on with it.

I wouldn't, but then again, I left the arsehole who insisted on having one of the things, so it wouldn't matter if I did.

Get a huge one and forget Netflix. Play PornHub 24/7 and your DH will be larger than the tv!

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 18/04/2021 06:39

We have a TV in our bedroom. Not huge but big enough to see it whilst lying in bed. DH and I (mostly me) often fall asleep whilst watching things in the evening so it helps to already be in bed. I use it when I’m doing work as background noise. DD1 likes to disappear off and watch something when the noise and chaos of a 6mo gets too much for her and she wants peace.

If you’d like a telly in your bedroom, get one.

Meant to add that our bedroom TV doesn’t have freeview. It has a built in DVD player and a fire stick so we can stream from Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+...

MintyCedric · 18/04/2021 07:32

@PuppyMonkey

It’s a yes from me, I love my telly in bed. DP brings me a cup of tea in the morning and it’s so nice to wake up and put telly on and watch the news (or the crap shopping channels - yes I know that’s just me).
Oh it's not just you...I love a bit of late night Gems TV...or some Dr Pimple Popper on YouTube if I'm feeling stressed Blush
ZaraW · 18/04/2021 07:35

I wouldn't. I have insomnia and to help manage it need to switch off all screens 2 hours before sleep.

ShutUpAlex · 18/04/2021 07:44

We have sky in our room and love it. Love lying down in bed to watch a film.

itbemay1 · 18/04/2021 07:53

Just got rid of mine from the bedroom, never used it really. If I want to watch a film or tv in bed I just use the iPad.
