To think removable wallpaper is naff

I'm renting and it would be great to put up some wallpaper that's easy to remove at the end of the tenancy to brighten up the place a bit more. However, one it all looks a bit naff when I search for some and, two, is it actually any good?

I've no idea, didn't know there was such a thing. All wallpaper is removable anyway.

I’ve just asked permission to repaint in previous rentals. If you are thinking of spending your own money, just do that and get permission in writing in an email. The two landladys I had were both fine with it as long as it was either not too garish, or I agreed to repaint magnolia when I left.

I'm working overseas in rented accommodation. My friend has it in her also rented house, it looks good. Am thinking of getting some to hide the boring magnolia walls. Depends what your idea of good taste is surely? I couldn't care less what anyone else thinks as long as I like it.

@ZaraW don't suppose you have any brand recommendations?

When I say 'removable' i mean 'peelable' or adhesive...Design preferences aside I just wonder how they look and how well they stick, whether they cause damage upon removal or not?

I'm not sure she got hers from the local DIY shop. Etsy have a good selection.
