To think it'll get easier as she gets older?

DD is ten weeks old and I'm finding the sleep deprivation and overall adjustment really difficult. She breastfeeds every three hours and won't take a bottle. She's also very hard to get to sleep. We had a particularly bad night last night and I'm so exhausted. If you have children, did you find that it got easier after the newborn period? When exactly?!

I found the early days of sleep deprivation the hardest. I had a baby that woke every 2 hours at least and was difficult to get to sleep. Cried a lot when awake. Not all babies are like this. If you have only have a sleepy, calm baby I imagine this is a lovely time.

Take all the help you can to get you through this. Get your partner to take the baby out for a walk for a good few hours to let you rest. Express or use formula to give you a bigger chunk of rest.

I also co slept with both of mine.
