I have been trying for over a week to get hold of someone Angry

I’ve tried 6 times today waiting over an hour at the longest and then get cut off...my battery is about to die on my phone I’ve been waiting for 48 minutes again

All because they have decided to change my tax code....my wages have stayed the same ffs it’s not rocket science

Also can’t get hold of them on live chat either

So they can’t tell me why or how I owe nearly £900 but I do owe it Hmm

At least they have changed my tax code so I now won’t be paying stupid amounts of tax 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ Have to be paid then call them back at the end of April to sort out yet another tax code taking me back to my old one...

Shower of bloody shite

I had been overpaid for something by quite a lot and only realised it because I questioned it.

My god in order to pay them back they made it really difficult.

At one point I was convincing a staff member I owed them money and he had this, ‘you owe us money but I’m going to make it difficult for you’ attitude. Could have screamed. You’d think I was calling to refuse to pay back when I’m fact I wanted to pay the whole sum off at once!

Two weeks of calls every day or other day, constantly cut off so calling up to or more than three times a day just to try and get through to the right dept and they passed me from pillar to post. One day the dept that was dealing with it decided the next day I had to speak to a different dept.

So fucking unorganised.

Fucking fuckity fucks.

What happens if I just let them chase me fir the money owed? It's such a backwards system. I want to pay for goodness sake!!

I had to write to them recently as I just couldn't get through to them. Their turn around time was quite good and I got the response I wanted.I think we mostly dread contact with hmrc and all the delays make it worse.
