Anybody else's Home Bargains awful for queing?

My local Home Bargains always have around 2 out of 6 tills open. They, for sone reason, wait until there is a que all the way down both aisles until they open another till.
Also covid wise: it's hard to socially distance as they have long ques going down the aisle so you're more than likely going to be in someone's way of reaching for an item they want and if you try to step out of the way, you're close to someone else.

Are all Home Bargains like this?

Same as B&M, you have to wait forever to get served there too!

Ours can be like that too, but today I was in and managed to put stuff straight on the till. It seemed quieter, but haven't been in for ages. I actually needed like 2 items, came out with 20+ items 😂, pretty much typical home bargains there!.

Ours is good. Always 5 tills open and will open more if queues build up. They only let so many people in to keep this down.

Ours depends on which manager is in, mostly well handled and a good system, you can only stand and queue in one area and the till staff call you to the till which works really well.
There is one manager who always stands chatting with some of his supervisors at the back of the shop regardless of how busy it is,it seems less organised when he is on.
Our local Range is another story, absolutely terrible queues and so much junk and packaging left in the aisles, it is worrying that if there was a fire people wouldn't be able to get out.

yes my last few times... two tills open.. about 20 minutes to queue to pay

B&M is appalling. At least have a fair queuing system or self service
