I took it quite a few years ago and there was definitely 2 pills that you take a set time apart, I can’t remember how long. It was a few years ago but I don’t remember having an side effects

greeneyedlulu · 31/03/2021 19:45

Isnt it 12 hours apart for the pills? I was fine with it, just had a period about a week later which messed my cycle a bit but nothing major

Jipterjames · 31/03/2021 19:48

Yes it’s two if you are fat/overweight/bmi whatever

Levonelle changed about a decade ago to just one 1500mcg tablet rather than 2 x 750mcg tablets 12 hours apart. The guidance from the faculty of sexual health has recently changed again to 2 x1500mcg tablets taken as one dose if you weigh over 70kg/11st or have a BMI of over 26, so it probably is correct that your GP has prescribed 2 tablets and they should be taken together

lanbro · 31/03/2021 19:50

I took it yesterday, was only pill to take

Slumcat · 31/03/2021 19:52

Two pills for levonelle is correct if you’re weight is greater that 70kg or BMI over 26. Below those figures is one pill.
