I know im not unreasonable just want tips.

Im moving house. Some of my stuff is in storage but ive given half of my furniture away as it seemed a good idea at the time

The new house is slightly bigger anyway and needs quite alot spending on it ie, electrics, plastering, flooring so most of my money will be tied up

What would be your tops tips to find good quality second hand furniture
I need a kids bed and furniture, my bed (will buy a mattress im thinking emma
A desk
Dining table and chairs
Fridge / freezer
Sofa - i think this will be priority new

Ive been trawling ebay, fb marketplace, gumtree

Any others that would be good finds

I buy loads of furniture second hand. Mixture of ebay and facebook marketplace. I wouldn't buy anything like a mattress or sofa but wooden surfaces can be cleaned and you end up with so much more character in the house than you would if you just buy new stuff.

I am currently renovating our downstairs and needed a large table for the kitchen with a specific type of leg due to how the seating works in the space. New would have cost me a minimum of £1200 just for the table. Ebay table and six chairs has cost £250.

Well you can move in the future.

Ring around the better schools and see which ones have spaces, apply to go on waiting lists.

If he refuses to release funds then she will have to go to state.
