Girls and boys school blazers

If they look the same in terms of colour and logo, are they actually the same e.g. are they unisex or are boys and girls blazers cut differently?

We've been given second hand blazer by neighbour who moved away. I wondered if their Ds's blazers will work for my dd? The sleeves seem very long.

Boys blazers have the Fart Flap at the back.

I've never heard it called that before, but it will now stick.

So which side are the boys' buttons?

The side they can draw their sword out from assuming they're right handed. (And no this is not a cheap innuendo!)

• boys = left over right

Very tricky to do buttons the other way once the “traditional” way is almost a reflex.
