Currently (or have previously been) in a long term, healthy, loving relationship, what star sign is/was your partner?

I'm thinking of dating in the next few months so gathering info.

I personally don't do well with Taurus or Gemini but I don't know many Virgos in real life I can ask to get an indication of what works

Please share?

(Name changed for this as I've had this convo recently and don't want my usual name linked.)

@greensanatomy thank you for your post it made me smile.

Leo's are so head strong! But really sensitive and loving underneath and just perfect for getting us out of our heads!

Another Virgo married to a Taurus. Our 38th wedding anniversary is next month. We argue but always manage to sort stuff out - well as soon as he realises I am right we doGrin

plinkplinkfizzer · 17/03/2021 00:54

Both Virgo and Married can't remember early 90's .

fairydustandpixies · 17/03/2021 00:56

I'm a virgo, been married twice and had several long term relationships. So probably matched with every star sign there is - none lasted, now happily single!

greensanatomy · 17/03/2021 00:57

@ohsovirgo Leo's have a massive heart and are very positive people. They can sometimes come across as arrogant with a massive ego but they just want to be loved and acknowledged and deep down they are sensitive souls. As a Virgo, this is what I struggled the most at the start with Dh because we are blunt. We feel everything, see everything and appreciate everything but those words and feelings never come out I'm a typical Virgo- clean, organised, critical, humble, introvert and my brain is just wired differently. With virgos, trust is very important, once they trust you, they have a very deep and loving side and love taking care of loved ones. They are funny, sarcastic and can be very very fun. We have boundaries, proper massive boundaries and once you respect those boundaries and jump through the hoops and they trust you, you will experience the best out of them.

Cancer is a good match for a Virgo

I know someone who is a Virgo dating a Sagittarius. Not sure on their relationship but they’ve been together a good while. But she’s not a typical Virgo

Biffbaff · 17/03/2021 01:19

My parents are Virgo and Aquarius - absolute chalk and cheese as people. No idea how they've stayed together so long (30+ years!)

Giggorata · 17/03/2021 03:03

I'm a very atypical (in some ways) Virgo, married to a Taurus (with strong Aquarian in his chart) for donkeys' years.
I seem to end up having relationships with loads of Aquarians.

Mally2020 · 17/03/2021 03:04

I'm a Virgo our most compatible signs are supposed to be Taurus and Cancer and My ex partner was a Pisces and it was a pretty toxic relationship

ShyTown · 17/03/2021 03:42

Another Taurus here- married 8 years and just had DC2!

Sceptre86 · 17/03/2021 03:50

I am a virgo, dh is an Aquarius. On paper we shouldn't get along if you belive in astrology, in reality he is my complete other half and we love each other to bits. I am a very typical Virgo and he is a very typical Aquarius we make it work. I don't give too much importance to things like this though. Go out with an open mind and heart and see where that gets you!

SpookyHalloween · 17/03/2021 04:32

I'm a Virgo and my exes were Gemini and Taurus. No major arguments but not super compatible.

Current partner is a Capricorn. Argue over stupid things and bad communication.

LakieLady · 17/03/2021 07:43

@LemonRoses

I’m a Virgo. It’s excellent rubbish. Married to a Leo. I just looked up how compatible we are.

Apparently, when Leo and Virgo click, they can make for a true power couple, provided they find a dynamic and balance that works for them. Typically, this means Leo's the star of the relationship and Virgo fills a more supportive role — to an extent. It's really about being on the same page and sharing the same goals. If they can do that, then there's literally nothing these two can’t do or achieve together.

Spookily accurate.

I'm a Leo and one of the worst relationships I ever had was with a Virgo!

But I think it's all bollocks, too.

Felifox · 17/03/2021 09:12

I'm Virgo while my dh was Aquarius, he died before our 36th anniversary. We were different but we had a lot of the same ideas. We were independent with separate interests. But we had quite definite ideas and would chat for hours

hennybeans · 17/03/2021 09:17

Virgo married to a pisces. I'm surprised nobody else has mentioned pisces at all. We are a match made in heaven! All the critical, negative, fastidious elements of me melt away with him. DH is sensitive soul, calm, reasonable and brings that out in me. I think I encourage the organisation in him. We work together so well. He makes me feel glass half full which is against my nature and I bring out his confidence which could otherwise be lacking.

Previously I've been with two Virgo men and whilst the initial similarities attracted us strongly, it was like living in a pit of critical, arguementative despair. Both times.

lljkk · 17/03/2021 09:17

Virgo Rising Leo moon in Aquarius (I don't take this stuff seriously, honest Wink )

Pfffft. Longterm I don't get along with anyone :). Friends or lovers.
I have a better track record with other Virgos, Libras & Gemini than most other star signs, probably. Daffodil Daffodil Daffodil Daffodil Daffodil

oreo2020 · 17/03/2021 09:31

Virgo, was married to Gemini, didn't work out but don't believe that's because of star sign.
In relationship with Scorpio - certainly not a boring one .... Hmm

lifehack · 17/03/2021 09:36

@hennybeans that's interesting, I've dated 3 Pisces men, they have been terribly toxic relationships so I'm avoiding them from now on, they can have a wandering eye and suffer with addictions. I'm not Virgo though but Aries so maybe there is something in it that some signs just aren't compatible.

Aria20 · 17/03/2021 09:50

Virgo married to a Scorpio for 10 years.... 2 of our children are scorpios too - both fiesty like their dad! Other child is a Gemini he's more laid back (lazy!) not sure if those are typical traits for those star signs?

MintyCedric · 17/03/2021 10:00

I'm a Virgo...dated various star signs, married (ultimately unsuccessfully) to a Libra for 20 years, although I'm on the cusp of Libra and he's on the cusp of Scorpio.

In general, the people I tend to 'click' with and/or have the closest/most longstanding friendships with have been Capricorns, Aries (my moon is in Aries) and Sagittarians.

I believe Taurus and Capricorn are supposed to be the best matches for a true Virgo.

Personally Cancerians seem to rub me up the wrong way.

MyAnacondaMight · 17/03/2021 10:22

I’m a Virgo and don’t believe in astrology. I do, however, find it a bit weird that all of my exes are born in late June - mid July. If you wanted to read into that, I’d suggest Cancer is a good match!

roomtomove · 17/03/2021 10:52

My dad is a Virgo. Am NC with him. DH is also a Virgo. Their personalities and characters couldn't be more different.

ohsovirgo · 17/03/2021 12:26
