OK, so a bit tongue in cheek.

Got a trip planned to Scotland end of July/ beginning of Aug. I've not had a holiday in 2 years and I have had to put this off twice due to Covid.

We are long in need of some fun. We have a lovely trip booked with loads of fun and are really looking forward to it.

Fingers crossed, NS has just said she sees Scotland being Level 0, near normal as of the beginning of June.

I've never liked her before, but by god, I want to lean across the table with tears in my eyes and give her a full-on kiss and say thanks Nic.

You've never seen the comments Boris gets about his hair and the way he speaks? He is constantly criticised for his appearance.

Everything NS does is for the purpose of political point scoring. If Boris announces something she deliberately holds off as if she’s so much more clued in and then announces the same thing a couple of days later.

The elections are looming and she’s had an awful lot of bad press lately as has the Scottish vaccination programme, so this might just buy her a few votes.

But it is different. Boris is usually criticised for his unkempt and untidy appearance which could be changed, in this case Nicola is having the piss taken out of her for resembling a fictional young boy which she can't do anything about.

Unless I’m reading it wrong, level 0 means travel from other parts of the UK is allowed for essential reasons only still. Where do you live?

NS said that travel restrictions within Scotland should end 26 April and between Scotland and the rest of the UK that date or shortly afterwards. The new levels won’t be exactly the same as the old levels.

You would almost think the woman’s remembered there is an election in a few weeks and her reputation is at rock bottom.

I definitely wouldn't kiss her, however if you did you'd be fine....she'd definitely not recall it happening, she would need to check if it happened, she'd deny that it happened and finish again with no recollection of it happening.
She is horrendous in my eyes. Everything is a political game for her at present and trying to secure votes. She has no competition in Scotland at all at present, so she and her party will get voted back in. Even in her party she has no competition/strong deputy.... Which with noone to challenge you at all is how dictatorship can start...

I'd be more worried about having a conversation with your family members in your holiday accommodation OP, and one if them taking it wrongly and reporting you to the police for a hate crime.

Level 0 here dues not mean normal life. It's simply a lower level than usual of state control.
