For wanting to quit because of pass agg supervisor

I've been volunteering with a charity for a while now and a large part of our work involves team activity.

My supervisor is pretty passive aggressive towards me, constantly stalling on things I need to do my role to the point where it's affecting my work. AFAIK they don't do this with other teammates.

I've raised it with the head of volunteering and they said to let them know when the issue arises so they can chase up.
Issue keeps arising and I'm sick of complaining about it over and over again. I also don't feel like head of volunteering is taking it seriously.

I feel slightly anxious and stupid when talking to supervisor as they never apologise for their slowness or acknowledge any issue.

I want out - AIBU?
And how would you bow out without totally burning bridges?

Just quit. Write a letter to head of volunteering and HR higher up (if they have this) explaining why you are leaving - that you are sorry to go and it's nothing to do with the role, but the supervisor makes your position untenable.

This is common in volunteering, unfortunately. Give someone a position of power but not necessarily the skills to go with it, you get a power mad little Hitler.

You are a volunteer. Quit. Let them know why. Don't let this put you off volunteering. There are wonderful people out there too but life is too short to put up with the nasty ones. Good luck

Yep if it’s a volunteer role, withdraw your help and tell them why!

I’d quit.
It’s really rubbish that colleagues/managers can have such an impact in work/volunteer roles.

Yes to echo others I’d quit and find a new volunteer role, but write a letter/email to their manager explaining you’re leaving and what they did to make the position so uncomfortable.
