Non replaceable lightbulbs!!!???

I'm getting my kitchen redecorated next week, including replacing the ceiling spotlights. I picked up my new lights from Screwfix yesterday only to find they have non-replaceable led bulbs. So when a bulb goes I will need to call an electrician to replace the whole fitting, and, worse, if I can't get the same style of light I'll have to replace all 16 of them. What new he'll is this? What is the advantage, if any, of non-replaceable bulbs?

I'm off to see if I can switch them, but interested in your thoughts in the meantime.

return them.
we have those in the kitchen, inbuilt into the upper cabinets.
we can't replace them without damaging the finish.

The bedside light we bought for DD has a non-replaceable LED bulb. That didn't seem too bad for a bedside light - it's supposed to be good for 10,000 hours, but not great for a kitchen light. Mine are on a lot!

The only possible explanation I can think of is increased sales/profits for manufacturers. You'd hope by now we'd be making real progress on in built obsolescence but apparently not.
