How on earth do I speak to someone on eBay?

Phone number directs you to site and can’t get through any of the options to speak to someone
I’m extremely unhappy as Ebay said they would honour paying me for a sale as I could prove I sent the item.
4 phonecalls later and it’s not been sorted. I can’t find the number now. Last phonecall they gave me a code to give to PayPal who they then said would release the funds. Phoned PayPal with the code and PayPal said it doesn’t work like that!
Now I can’t see how to phone Ebay again
Can anyone help? Thanks

Can you prove item has been sent, or received? If the former they won’t refund you, so I wouldn’t bother chasing it. You’d be better claiming compo from the courier.

However, re your OP, there’s not a direct number as such. You need to go to the help / contact us on the website then follow the prompts until you get a series of contact options. There should be one for phone and one for live chat.

Sent you a link to Ebay live chat- check your messages

I have proved that I sent it- I uploaded proof
I have an email from eBay saying they will pay me for the sale and still haven’t. And it’s now nearly 2 months later

You need proof the buyer has received it. If they have confirmed receipt then eBay should release funds to you. Has the buyer confirmed this?

Remember the goods are your risk until the buyer receives them. Proof of postage is not enough.

Ebay have said that they will release funds. Unless the item is already in dispute with the buyer claiming they have not received it, then you do not need proof of delivery.

Proof of delivery and eBay will release your funds. Proof of postage, you will need to claim from your courier.

PS if it was a small or medium parcel there will be a reference number on the proof of postage, you can enter this on the Royal Mail website and it will tell you if the item has been delivered or not. (This is with the standard service, not just signed for)
