He's on xbox live with a couple of mates. He's drinking beer.
I'm wrapped up well with the electric shiatsu massager on my back. I'm drinking water and chewing gum.

In bed. He's watching videos that make his eyes happy. I'm on MN.

We’re having some wine after dinner

I'm on mum's net and he's gone to bed early.

In my office doing paperwork, he’s in his ‘office’ looking at a giant tv playing PlayStation online with his mate while they shout and cheer back and forth on the phone.

I've just come to bed and he is playing computer games downstairs.

Earlier we restarted G.O.T and got ready for eldest 'birthday tea party' tomorrow.

He's watching telly with the dog at home, I'm watching my sleeping child get antibiotics through a drip in hospital. He came here to watch him for a few hours earlier, so I could go home and watch shit non-thinking telly, and have a shower.

Watching NCIS, drinking wine. He is playing Football Manager on the laptop, I have just finished sewing name labels into DS1's new polo shirts and am now on my phone. Pretty standard (not the wine, that's only once a week).

In bed next to me, fallen asleep trying to read his book, keeps jolting awake and saying he isn’t asleep

I am here and he is 40 miles away in his bed. Boo.

We’re watching Pokémon while he makes little model things, and I make him laugh with feeble ‘attempts’ to help (distract him). When I feel he’s earned a break I retreat to the other side of the sofa.

We’ve eaten some nice ready made M&S beef bourguignon for dinner (this is unusual. We normally cook, or occasionally have a takeaway) We are finishing a bottle of red wine whilst watching a series on Netflix. The cat is asleep on me. DH will probably go to bed shortly and I’ll stay up half an hour or so longer reading a book, with the cat in his usual place.

We’re both in bed. He’s watching top gear and I’m scrolling my phone trying to find the energy to get up and put a pull up on our son.

He's 'shooting shit' on his Xbox game with some friends via his headset. I'm putting some washing away then crocheting and watching this week's Drag Race. Standard evening really.

We're in bed, I'm feeding the baby and listening to the suspicious gurgling noises coming from her tummy... And on mumsnet obviously! He's watching videos about homebrewing on YouTube. In a minute he'll change her nappy and we'll go to sleep!

I’m in the living room watching midsummer murders and he’s in the den watching some odd physics documentary.. we shout comments at each other occasionally... both having a beer. That’s 26 years of marriage right there

Crappy film on tv, flicking through phones grown up Sons in and out with friends playing under the hood of a car in driveway asking DH for advice 2 younger kids playing tag upstairs and we are taking turns shouting at them, DH shouting bribes I’m shouting threats! the 2 cats are fighting over the same toy...... always a mad house 😉
