This is Us. Used to be on channel 5 but now on Amazon prime - I took out prime just for it. Best series ever.

Recently got Britbox and have been watching crime stuff - Scott & Bailey, DCI Banks, Unforgotten, The Bay, Broadchurch, Touch of Frost, Happy Valley, Shetland. Also some drama - Last Tango in Halifax, Doc Martin

I’m rattling through Superstore (5 seasons on Netflix). Genuinely funny, engaging characters and so easy to watch. I’m hopeless for starting programmes and giving up after a few episodes, but I’m halfway through season 3 and loving it.

The Crown and Bridgerton, both on Netflix. Several series of The Crown and kept me entertained for weeks.

WinstonmissesXmas · 26/02/2021 22:32

The Americans, Amazon Prime. Bereft when I watched the last episode of the last series!

Mydogdoesntlisten · 26/02/2021 22:33

We've been rewatching Bodies on iPlayer. It's brilliant but gory.

Wrongsideofhistorymyarse · 26/02/2021 22:35

Westworld
Unauthorized Living

It's a sin- All 4. The Queen's gambit- netflix.

Housechaos · 26/02/2021 22:44

The Great.

Very crude but very funny- not one to watch with your parents in the room though!

Oh gosh I felt just the same! I couldn't bear to watch anything at all for a while 😭 Some of those scenes in the final episode. The Brothers in Arms backing track. The train scene!

I think this is my favourite show for a long time.

Outlander, this is us, schitts creek, the crown, Grey's anatomy. All excellent.

I've noticed today a lot of grown up stuff has just dropped on Disney plus so I'm currently binging cougar town which is quite good.

MaxNormal · 26/02/2021 22:47

@JustLoveBarneyRonay yay another fan! We were actually in Rome a bit over a year ago and hung out in Ostia a couple of evenings.
It reminds me of The Wire a bit in that they don't have a clear good guys/bad guys delineation and you wind up rooting for the most unexpected characters, I love Spadino.

I watched it all again recently and enjoyed it even more. Such amazing characters, acting and detail. The last episode was phenomenal television.
Gobbeldegook · 26/02/2021 22:47

How to get away with murder on Netflix. Stupid but fab.

Spadino's wardrobe and interior design are something else 😂

42isthemeaning · 26/02/2021 22:48

Schitt's Creek all the way! Stick with it for a couple of episodes.
Dexter was great.
Better Things is different and funny. It's set in LA and she's a single parent actress to 3 girls (iPlayer) Smile

On BBC 1 player The Mallorca Files; detective programme, set in Mallorca - beautiful scenery. Great light viewing.
