Well if they didn't have that mini sandal(?) underneath the heel, they would just be barefoot shoes (looks like a FiveFingers sole).

My brother has worn these for years - he wears the Vibram ones, same type of style, different designer.

Luckily my brother doesn't care they look weird, I think he quite relishes it actually haha! I'm not even sure if he owns a regular pair of shoes tbh. I've only ever seen him in these for the last decade or so at least.

I would actually quite like those if they came in black.
