Just catching up and thinking how I would have loved to have been on there, seriously thinking of signing up with OU to have a crack!

Got through to Only Connect audition stage- was incredibly difficult and full on! Didn’t make it onto the show itself.

I am epic at missing vowels, ok-ish at the first two rounds but I suck rancid donkey balls at the wall.

I'm another who was nearly on. We had a competition at uni to select our team and I came fourth. Three boys ahead of me. The boy who came fifth cried so they bumped me for him. Four scientists and I came along in reserve, in the green room as part of the team etc and front row audience. I should have stamped my foot a bit because it was ridiculous. And they got. Couple of questions wrong that I knew the answers to. Reciting the lyrics of Come On Eileen being one of them, and a question about a bird. (Outing but I've NC).
Paxman was nice, but hungover and not very chatty.
Much friendlier was liza tarbuck when I went on blockbusters, and davina when I went on 100k drop. I applied to catchphrase and millionaire but neither replied.
