Does ex need to know my address to have child in the will?

Ex had contacted me after 7 years of no contact as he’s heard I’m moving house and saying he needs my address for our child to be on his will? Is this accurate? I really don’t want him knowing my address due to DV.

I’ve responded and told him to F off!

I would just tell him to use a c/o or put last known address. People move all the time and don’t update wills.

Could be writing life insurance into trust for him, some companies don’t know what they are doing and will insist on an address.

But I still wouldn’t give him it
